Life-long coffee professionals have argued for some time that coffee may in fact have more nuanced flavors than wine. Our regular customers will be the first to attest, each of our coffees holds unique flavors that vary from bean to bean.
Citrus aromas, acidic sparkle, earthy undertones... these subjective descriptors are only a few of the infinite means of articulating the diverse flavors of every coffee. Even where the coffee rests on the pallet, from first sip to lingering finish, carries its own unique qualities.
We hope to better characterize each of our coffees by featuring one single origin every week. Customers will be invited to indulge in a French press and join us here on IHeartKudu.com to share opinions, comments and stories. Be sure to check the day's menu board in the shop as well as our homepage for updates as to which coffee is featured this week!

Welcome to the newly redesigned Kudu Coffee House website!
Two years have passed since Kudu first opened its doors to the Charleston area - an exciting journey to say the least! You can imagine our excitement in being so fully embraced by our community, allowing us the opportunity to grow and evolve.
That being said, much has changed since those fledgling days of 2006. We have seen a steady increase in volume for sure, and that is thanks to each and every one of our customers for being as enthused as we are about the shop and our African coffees. Thank you for your continued support!
As a result of our growing customer base, we have recently opened Kudu Corner. This additional seating space located indoors across the patio is intended to be a quiet escape from the main bar area.
New audio-visual equipment has enhanced live performances and now allows us to present documentaries and slideshows!
With all this positive change, it is a wonder our website has gone untouched for so long! Thus, without further ado, welcome to our redesigned web presence!
